Here's my story; very quick... very abbreviated...
I was born 1958 in Raleigh, North Carolina where I lived until I was 3 years of age. My family then moved to Short Hills, New Jersey where I spent my formative years while my father worked for Westinghouse Electric Corp in Newark, New Jersey.
In 1975, I spent a year at Aiglon College in Chesieres Villars, Switzerland, learning a "little" French along the way. In the following years, I attended Milburn Senior High School in Milburn, New Jersey. During the summer months, I worked in a hotel in Berchtesgaden, Germany. I've always loved to travel.
From 1977 to 1981, I attended Plymouth State College in New Hampshire where I earned a BS Degree in Business Management. From there I moved to Florida where by brother and I ran an export company for several years.
In 1986, I married Jean Ellen Hatfield. Together, we then moved to Moultonborough, New Hampshire where I tried my hand at real estate, but we ended up back in Florida where I accepted a position with Westinghouse Electric's Distribution and Controls Division in 1989.
From 1992 to the year 2000, I was assigned as sales manager for the Caribbean region, traveling almost monthly to the islands. FUN!! It was a super experience. In 1994, the electrical division of Westinghouse was sold to Eaton's Cutler-Hammer group, where I continue to be employed.
At the "turn of the century", I accepted the position of Regional Sales Manager for Chile, and my wife and I relocated to South America in May of 2000. We worked and lived in Chile for almost 4 years, returning to the US in November 2003. We now reside, once again, in sunny Florida!
In concluding this snapshot bio, I'd be remiss not to mention the most exciting aspect of my life, and that is my relationship with Jesus CHrist. With a clear focus on what God's purpose is for our lives, I feel that Jean and I have been blessed tremendously. God created everything on and in this world, and He has a very unique plan and purpose for every one of us. Like any great inventor or designer, has left us with an "owner's manual" so that we can determine what that great plan is and how it works. In a world so filled with turmoil, I just feel fortunate to be a part of his family. Everything else, and I mean everything, will come and go. His family will last forever. If you're not loving life and looking forward to eternity, then open up your owner's manual and learn how you can!
Well that's my story, and I'm stickin to it! I'm not sure where we go from here, but when we get there, I'll update this page!
