A Kentucky woman settled her lawsuit with former NBA star Dennis Rodman in Las Vegas court.

Rebecca Mardis of Laurel County, Ky., alleged Rodman slammed her camera to the floor and lifted her into the air in a threatening manner when she tried to take his picture in January 1999 in the lobby of the MGM Grand. She said Rodman then laughed at her fright.

Mardis filed suit in Clark County District Court in June 1999 seeking $1 million in damages.

Mardis' attorney, Nancy Allf, said the settlement was reached Tuesday, but she could not disclose the details because of a confidentiality agreement.

"I can tell you my client is very pleased with it," Allf said.
