Ernest S. Hanks, 85, of R. D. 2 Everett, died on Monday February 19, 1968 in
the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born May 20, 1882, a son of the
late Benjamin and Anna (Akers) Hanks. He was married to the late Ella (Byers)
Hanks who died January 17, 1957. He is survived by one brother, H.
Bartley Hanks of Everett, R.D. 2, and three nephews. He was a member of the Everett
Methodist Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 21, for the
Conner Funeral Home in Everett with the Rev. Louis Barth officiating. Interment
was made in the Everett Cemetery.
Earnest Sangree HANKS and Ella BYERS were married on 14 Sep 1905 in Blair
County, Pennsylvania. Ella BYERS was born
on 10 Aug 1877. She died on 17 Jan 1957. She was buried
in Everett Cemetery, Everette, Pennsylvania. |
